Hand Sanitizer
These are strange times, friends, and a better hand-washing technique is one of the things I’ll be coming out of this quarantine with. BUT, for that necessary trip to the grocery store, Chic-fil-A drive-thru order or fill-up at the gas station, you’ll need a bottle of hand sanitizer at the ready.
AND, if you haven’t been able to find your usual go-to sanitizer at the store, you might want to try whipping some up at home.
But, first, here’s what you need to know:
Hand sanitizer must contain a 60% or above dilution of alcohol, which is the amount the CDC recommends to destroy the lipid membrane that surrounds the coronavirus.
If you can, include Young Living’s Thieves oil blend in your hand sanitizer DIY. Thieves may help boost the immune system and help fight infection as studies have shown that it has antimicrobial and antiviral properties.
Make sure that the alcohol you use in your DIY hand sanitizer is at least 180 proof in order to destroy germs/viruses.
As you probably know, washing your hands with soap and water is always the best choice; but sanitizer is good to have on hand when you’re out and about.
If you don’t feel up for making your own, you can find AJP’s Hand-Sanitizer HERE. Our proprietary blend is made with pure grain alcohol, distilled water, hydrogen peroxide, Young Living’s Thieves oil blend, orange, lemon and grapefruit essential oils.
Hope that helps, friends!
